Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. 

This is a fulltime, permanent position of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday (office hours and on call).

Full UK Driving Licence essential.

Post Holder works with Estates Team who are professionally responsible for meeting the organisations key objectives, for the delivery of Patient Care by the provision of Effective, Efficient, and Safe Operation & Maintenance of Estates Services, Systems and Budgetary Resource,

Compliance with Statutory Requirements & Mandatory NHS Healthcare Standards & Guidelines, for the day-to-day operational activities of the Estates Department.

Participate in the use of FM First PPM & Reactive Maintenance System to ensure delivery of Statutory Compliance and Effective Repairs, specifically with regard to Water Systems and Compliance with SHTM 04-01 Operational Management and dealing with NHS GG&C Framework Contractor to Manage Electronic Recording and Non-Conformance Actions relating to the Water System.

The post holder will be a minimum of HNC qualified in a technical subject or working towards that qualification.

NHS delivers services around the clock and this post requires the successful candidate participates in Managing & Maintaining an Operational On-Call System.
