Full Job Description

Three Bridges Recruitment is partnering with a large organisation based in Edinburgh. This organisation is looking for a Management Accountant to work on a part time basis to support the senior finance function and are offering a great opportunity to work alongside the Finance Director working on high level strategic financial tasks.

Job

The role of Management Accountant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts for international subsidiaries
  • Update consolidated management accounts and provide variance analysis
  • Coordinate with foreign advisors to ensure compliance in various jurisdictions
  • Manage inter-company accounts and perform ongoing reconciliations
  • Review and update cash forecasts and monitor bank accounts
  • Oversee year-end processes essential for statutory and other returns
  • Work with the finance department to ensure monthly reconciliations are completed in accordance with approved processes and procedures
  • Generate and post sales invoices to the accounting ledger
  • Support the finance team in meeting all deadlines

You

As a Management Accountant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • At least 3 years of experience in management accounting or a related role
  • Part qualification in ACCA/CIMA or completion of AAT is a plus but not mandatory
  • Experience with international companies is preferred but not required
  • Proficient in handling and prioritising multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with Sage Line 50 is preferred
