Reed Finance are working with a well-respected organisation based in Edinburgh seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, advising budget holders, and supporting the development of annual budgets. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Produce monthly management accounts with comprehensive commentary.
• Conduct management accounts meetings with budget holders, presenting financial insights, providing advice, and addressing queries.
• Ensure timely receipt of information from Managers and availability of management accounts for pre-booked meetings.
• Drafting annual budgets aligned with organisational goals.
• Lead on budget management, growth targets, and variance analysis
• Assist the Head of Finance year-end procedures and audit preparation.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Strong team player with flexibility.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure.
• Capable of working cooperatively with team members and independently.
