Full Job Description

In this role you will work with international entities in the delivery of Management Accounting services which will be used by the Finance Manager for supporting performance. Your role will include looking after AP, AR, Credit Control and General Ledger control through to finalised Management Accounts.

We are ideally looking for someone who is a qualified accountant and with good experience operating at a hands-on level, exposure to working with ERP systems and who is broadly skilled and dependable in the Management Accounting discipline.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Control of month-end reporting and Management Accounts for international entities, performing all aspects of Management Accounting for review.
  • Ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet through control of the general ledger. You will be proficient in understanding all aspects of Management Accounting.
  • You will perform the first line analysis of Management Accounting information and work with the Finance Business Partner to finalise the variance analysis reports.
  • Working with local experts such as an accounting practice firm to deliver the annual statutory audit and ensure full taxation compliance.
  • Controlling and ensuring payments are made in line with terms and conditions, you will help with this by mentoring and supporting junior staff.

This a role where your contribution is vital in helping to grown bottom line and top line growth.

We are looking for people with the following skills and experience:

  • You will either be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA) or be qualified by experience, the important qualifying criteria is experience in a busy and fast-paced sector.
  • ICT literate and with good of Microsoft packages, including excel, ERP systems and broadly experienced in using software to manage transactions.
  • Strong financial analysis skills are important and a background in budgeting, forecasting, and comparing actual results with forecasts.
  • You will have sound judgement and decision-making skill, problem solving ability and be a dependable team member.
  • You will be an excellent communicator; your audience will use English as a 2nd language, so it is important to build effective relationships.
