Management Accountant

Thistle Seafoods are looking for a Management Accountant based at our head office in Boddam. We are happy to look at either an experienced hire, or a recent accounts and finance graduate who is looking for an opportunity to progress. This role will be directly reporting to one of our finance managers and will involve the day to day operational tasks alongside performing financial analysis to improve business efficiency.,

• Overseeing the treasury function of the business.
• Cash forecasting.
• Working closely with the support team monitoring both the accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Creating weekly reports for the finance manger and senior management team.
• Produce monthly budgeting reports ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Analyse the data and liaise with production to explain resource usage and understand drivers behind cost and performance variances.
• Carry out financial analysis as required, identifying potential risks and benefits.
Successful candidates will receive full training and mentoring, with the aim of candidates to be given ever further responsibility as time goes on. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm, with hybrid working available.
