Management Accountant

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with an exciting growing firm in their search for a Management Accountant to join the business. My client are searching for a driven and motivated part-qualified or newly qualified accountant to join their team, working for a fantastic leader who will invest in your development and growth and part of a wider team that can provide support and opportunity. This role will be operated on a hybrid basis of 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and delivering the management accounts and associated analysis and reporting
• Providing effective commentary alongside accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Cash forecasting and longer term budgeting and forecasting
• Involved in the continuous improvement of the finance function
• Business partnering with operational leaders who are often based at different sites
• Supporting in the audit process

Previous Experience

The successful candidate will likely be part-qualified or newly qualified through ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting certification or be qualified by experience. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of an established team. You will have experience in month-end closes. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is key as is strong communication and business partnering skills.
