Oliver Smith Recruitment are working exclusively with our key client in East Kilbride to recruit a Qualified Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

This role will involve delivering accurate and timely financial information to the senior management team.

Description

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
• Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting processes
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Collaborating with other members of the Accounting & Finance team
• Implementing cost control measures
• Participating in financial audits and external audit queries 
• Advising on strategic planning and business performance

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Professional certification such as ACCA
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Good knowledge of accounting software and MS Office
• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
