Full Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer in Kintore, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on a specific product line within our Quality Assurance department. You will be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, process optimization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.,

  • Conduct meticulous investigations to identify root causes of supply chain or manufacturing issues and recommend changes to BOMs, drawings, or product designs to reduce NCR rates and improve efficiency.
  • Implement and thoroughly monitor corrective actions to ensure lasting improvements in manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and utilize tools for continuous monitoring to drive optimum efficiency and enhance product quality.
  • Maintain compliance with QMS, HSE, and industry quality standards, supporting QA/QC teams with audits and process development.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing process enhancements that lead to better business performance.
  • Qualify and develop new and existing vendors to ensure adherence to quality and efficiency standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on improvements and drive common goals.
  • Advocate for safety and quality in all manufacturing processes, ensuring products meet stringent industry standards.
  • Serve as an expert engineer, problem solver, data analyst, and efficiency advocate within the manufacturing team.

    Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience in manufacturing safety-critical, oilfield-related pressure-retaining equipment.
  • Proficient in PLM, CAD, and MS Office, with strong mathematical, engineering, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage change effectively, and communicate fluently in English.
  • Solid understanding of QMS in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of uniting stakeholders across departments to achieve common goals.
  • Desirable:
  • Internal Audit experience and familiarity with APA and ISO standards.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and manufacturing of flowline, plug valves, gate valves, and chokes.
  • Relevant training certifications.
