An opportunity has arisen for a Multi-agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) Business Support Worker based at Ailsa Hospital on a fixed term/secondment basis until March 2025.

What you will do:

MARAC is a multi-agency risk assessment conference where partners from a number of agencies including police, health, social work services and independent domestic abuse services, come together to discuss and agree actions to support cases of high risk domestic abuse. The role is central to the smooth running of MARACs and is a unique position which includes supporting the core business of Ayrshire MARAC.

You will provide and manage efficient delivery of high quality administrative/business support to the Ayrshire Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) process in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures.

You will also support the collation and production of all relevant service data and outcomes by managing various electronic information systems.

You will be responsible for preparing and produce monitoring reports for analysis, audit and assurance purposes.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You must be educated to HNC level in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies or equivalent and have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.  A wide knowledge of the Health and Care sector is also essential. 

The main base for the MARAC Team is Eglinton House, Ailsa Campus and a blended approach to work utilising distributed working practices is adopted.
