To provide administrative, events and communications support to Obesity Action Scotland. Reporting to the Head, the Programme Assistant's responsibilities will include:

• Organising and executive assistance to the head in efficient running of the unit including diary, correspondence, spreadsheet and database management
• Organising and co-ordinating events, meetings, media and communications
• Managing organisation's digital media platforms and social media posts
• Tracking and monitoring unit finances and preparing financial reports
• Producing minutes and records of meetings
• Liaising with a variety of external stakeholders
• Updating and streamlining organisational database
