Material Handler Team Leader

Your key responsibilities
- Coaching and Training the Materials Handler Team in effective team behaviour and all aspects of Materials Handling.
- The day to day running of a busy raw material warehouse and offloading raw material to comply with site SHE and Quality standards
- Responsibility for monitoring and improving the performance of the team to ensure targets for goods receipt, inventory management and regulatory compliance are met or bettered.
- Auditing the team performance to ensure that relevant GMP and site procedures are being adhered to and initiating training when skills gaps are identified.
- Planning, preparation and issuing of permits

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 3 years relevant industrial supervisory experience.
- An NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or above in a relevant subject would be desirable for this position.
- You will be expected to have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to adapt quickly to new challenges.
- Candidates will require to demonstrate using drive, determination and enthusiasm to tackle problems and provide effective solutions.
