Full Job Description

This specific role of the Material Scheduler is to ensure we always have materials available in line with our production plans for the Leven site., To ensure dry goods components are available at appropriate production area in line with production plan, taking into account storage capacity constraints and vehicle unloading capacity constraints.,

  • Ensure components are on site to cover production line requirements
  • Arrange timed deliveries of components into site in line with Stores Areas unloading matrices - ensure Stores Teams know what is coming in and when
  • Monitor component demand v stock for imminent weeks 1-3 plan and ensure demand does not move into fixed production plan if comps not available
  • Brand Change activity - component rundowns/ introduction of new components
  • Management of non-BOM sundry comp ordering


  • Computer literate - Proficient in mainframe material management systems, Microsoft packages and internet applications
  • Demonstrates variety of communication skills
  • High degree of numerical proficiency and attention to detail
  • Problem solving and issue resolution
  • Ability to work on own initiative and proactive decision maker
  • Strength to challenge where appropriate and accept being challenged
