Full Job Description

Contract Scotland has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Stores Person to join our Grangemouth based client. This is a temporary role initially with a view to becoming permanent after a qualifying period.

You will be site based, working 39 hours Monday to Friday and will have the opportunity to earn overtime. 

Working as part of a busy, established team you will manage the control of materials and stores provision for the business. Your duties will include: 

  • Creating and maintaining records of stock movement within the company
  • Carrying out safety checks on equipment
  • Ensuring operations follow company and industry regulations
  • Maintaining all aspects of equipment and stores in line with company processes and procedures
  • Managing logistics of equipment including international shipping and customs clearance, when required
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy store environment.
  • Actively participate in promoting and maintaining the Company’s high standards for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
  • Carrying out all related administration

You will ideally have a knowledge of Equipment Control Systems, NDT Techniques and Rope Access Equipment, however training can be provided. You must have worked in a similar role and will understand the importance of managing materials accurately and safely in a fast paced and changeable environment. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to work with people at all levels.
