Full Job Description

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Measurement Allocation and Auditing (MAA) team in Aberdeen, playing a vital role in pursuing opportunities. The candidate will be self-sufficient and responsible for working cooperatively within a larger wood support team as required., General skills:

  • Provide Technical and Engineering Support to Clients Assets.

  • Maintenance Optimization.

  • Reviewing and Updating procedures

  • On Site Gap Analysis to Identify and details of Improvements

  • Identifying measurement improvement

  • Reviewing OEM project documentation (FDS etc.).

  • FAT - attending and producing procedures and documentation.

  • SAT - attending and producing procedures and documentation.

  • ME2 Verification

  • Reporting of measurement compliance

  • Review of Dispensations, Deviations and Mismeasurements on behalf of asset to regulatory Authorities or Asset Operators.

    The successful candidate will take a position in the MAA Assurance department and will have experience in performing both internal and external measurement audits.


  • Applicant must have successful completed of ISO 9001 certification, Familiarity with working under ISO 17020 compliance. OPITO UK Survival Training and UK Medical Certificate and a Full UK driving license. Auditor Requirements. The candidate must be a team player providing measurement support, guidance, and training where necessary.

    Wood seeks a candidate who has held a similar position within a measurement team covering several key areas including Engineering Support, Fiscal and allocation audit. ME2 verifications. The candidate will have significant industry experience, specifically in Flow Measurement, and a recognised expert in the Industry.

    The candidate must demonstrate that they are fully competent in flow quality measurement utilising a broad range of technologies, and have a high level of knowledge of ISO, AGA, and AGI measurement standards and calculations as a minimum. The candidate will be capable of making sound judgments reviews based on experience on the significance of any measurement issues arising., The candidate will be a self-motivated individual, with a measurement background.

  • Degree, or equivalent in a relevant subject

  • Significant industry experience, specifically in Flow Measurement, and a recognized expert in the Industry


  • Measurement Expertise:

  • Measurement and analyzers application

  • Sampling and laboratory analysis

  • Flow calculations

  • Phase behavior and PVT applications

  • Multiphase and wet gas metering

  • Uncertainty analysis

  • Equipment testing and qualification

  • Industry standards: API, AGA, GPA, ASTM, ISO, EI, OIML, GOST etc.

  • Commercial support for production agreements and regulatory permits

  • Allocation disputes investigation and reporting

  • Process simulation modelling
