Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our busy workshop. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake adjustments, and tyre rotations.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and manual methods.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Mechanic is essential.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, and electrical components.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive and mechanical engineering.
