Mechanical Design Engineer

Join our client’s team, in Dunfermline, as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where you'll deliver engineering solutions while adhering to the company’s standards and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work independently on tasks and contribute to complex projects under senior supervision, guiding junior engineers in the process. Your expertise will play a vital role in optimizing designs and enhancing project efficiency.
 
 
What you can bring to the table:
 

• Relevant Engineering Degree
• Skills in Manufacturing Engineering
• Proficiency in Engineering Drawing, Dimensioning, and Tolerancing
• Experience in creating engineering documentation and Bill of Materials
• Knowledge of Materials Science

 
 
What would be beneficial:
 

• Familiarity with 3D Modelling and Drafting Standards (NX or equivalent)
• Understanding of Surface Wellhead and Tree technology
• Knowledge of relevant industry codes (API 6A, ISO 9001, etc.)
• Proficiency in databases, and processes
• Competency in MS Office
