Mechanical Estimator

Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Mechanical Estimator for our client a leading mechanical company who are a provider of comprehensive solutions.

We are seeking a driven Mechanical Estimator to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing project requirements, evaluating costs, and preparing accurate estimates for mechanical projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and strong attention to detail to support the company's growth.

Responsibilities

• Analyse project plans and blueprints to determine the scope of work and materials required
• Calculate labour, material, and equipment costs to prepare accurate project estimates
• Prepare detailed and competitive bid proposals for potential projects
• Clearly communicate cost breakdowns, timelines, and project specifications to internal stakeholders and clients
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and expectations
• Participate in meetings and presentations to discuss project estimates and proposals

Experience 

• Experience as a Mechanical Estimator in a similar industry
• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or related field 
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
• Proficient IT skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in estimating.

• Salary DOE
• Hours Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
