Mechanical Fitter

Connect Appointments have a new permanent opportunity available for a skilled Mechanical Fitter in Falkirk. This is a unique opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter from a heavy manufacturing background to join one of the biggest companies in the UK in their industry!

Schedule: 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm

Pay rate: 39809 per annum

The ideal Mechanical Fitter will possess a solid background in site maintenance, covering pumps, compressors, mechanical drivers, hydraulics and pneumatics. The ideal candidate will also have:

• Served a recognised apprenticeship
• Previous experience working with fast-moving conveyor systems as well as some PLC control experience (highly preferred)
• Experience in both preventative and reactive maintenance
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
