Full Job Description

Hydraulic/Mechanical Technicians Needed - Fife - 37,500 basic starting salary

Escape Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturing client in Fife to recruit skilled Hydraulic/Mechanical Technicians for permanent workshop-based roles.

What You Bring:

  • A minimum SVQ Level 3 engineering qualification and time-served experience
  • Trade papers ready at the time of application

Job Purpose:

  • Install, service, and maintain hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret engineering drawings for mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Use precision measuring and recording equipment
  • Work with high-pressure and pressure-generating equipment
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, and control valves
  • Maintain detailed service reports, risk assessments, and complete paperwork to high standards
  • Provide support across other trades and disciplines as needed
