Full Job Description
Nuclear Medicine Physics provides the Bone densitometry (DEXA) service as well as therapeutic and non-imaging diagnostic Nuclear Medicine while also supporting Radiology in providing diagnostic Nuclear Medicine for NHS Lothian.
Working in a team of 10 Technologists and 8 Physicists you will support the general work of the section and in particular will acquire and analyse bone densitometry (DEXA) studies for the diagnosis of osteoporosis and the monitoring of treatment.
You will have a degree in a relevant subject and be willing to undertake a formal training programme to be able to perform DEXA scanning. You will have experience of working with patients, preferably within an imaging context.
