Braeside Medical Practice, Galashiels Health Centre

Part-time Medical Receptionist

An opportunity has arisen for a part time medical receptionist to join our friendly, forward thinking team.  The vacancy is for 20 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 2pm until 6pm.  You will also be required to cover occasional holiday/sickness leave.

The role will include dealing with patients over the telephone and face-to-face, processing prescriptions, making appointments and a range of other administrative duties.     

We are looking for someone who is friendly, enthusiastic, forward thinking and highly motivated.  The successful candidate will be working in a very busy, demanding reception and must have the ability to work under pressure.  They will have excellent communication, telephone and IT skills, be flexible, organised and reliable.  

Medical reception experience would be desirable but not essential, as full training will be given. 

We are a Living Wage employer and salary will be dependent on experience.
