Full Job Description

An eight-week paid internship with the potential to secure a full-time role ready for you to start in 2026, giving you more time to focus on and get the most out of your final year of university study.

We will count on you to :

Our team supports clients by designing and monitoring their investment strategies, advising on their ongoing governance and creating engaging communication strategies.

You will support our analysts and consultants with this work while gaining valuable knowledge about the pensions industry.

You should be a penultimate year student and on track to achieve a minimum 2 : 1 degree classification.

English and Mathematics GCSE (Minimum Grade 4).

Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to provide Visa sponsorship for this role).

Join Mercer as a summer intern with our Defined Contribution team and experience working for a global company shaping the future of Health, Wealth, and Career consulting.

Our Defined Contribution team provides specialist advice to pension clients in areas such as designing new investment strategies and monitoring the performance of those strategies, helping clients navigate complex governance requirements, in particular those faced by trustee boards, as well as helping companies design pension plans that deliver great outcomes for their employees.

You'll have the opportunity to support and learn from the largest group of DC experts in the UK in a dynamic and growing area of pension provision.

This is an eight-week paid internship providing penultimate year students with an accelerated foundation to their career.
