Mid-Senior Web Developer


Glasgow, to £45,000 + benefits / profit share


Our client is an award-winning, innovative and fresh digital design and marketing agency with offices in Glasgow and Dundee. They are looking for a new midweight-senior Developer to join their collaborative, fast-moving team. We can consider candidates from either Glasgow or Dundee / surrounding area. Preferably you will have your own car to move between the offices as required.

You will be dealing with clients across various industries and be free to use your creative passion, talent and technical know-how to turn out impressive projects that exceed expectations.

Role Requirements for Web Developer:


  • Proficiency in WordPress. Extensive experience working with WordPress CMS, including theme development, plugin customisation, and content management.
  • In-depth knowledge of PHP programming language to develop custom functionalities and troubleshoot issues within WordPress.
  • Ability to create responsive websites that are optimised for various devices and screen sizes using responsive design techniques.
  • Experience ensuring that WordPress websites are compatible with multiple browsersand devices
  • Experience in optimising WordPress websites for speed and performance, including minimizing load times and optimising images.
  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git for managing codebase and collaborating with team members.Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure websites are inclusive and usable by all users.
  • Experience with testing and debugging tools.
  • Experience with build tools and package managers like composer, webpack, npm, or yarn.
  • Bonus skills -Front-end framework/library such as React back-end framework/library such as Symfony
  • Ideally you will be working in or have experience of the agency environment
