We are seeking to recruit a Housing Mixed Tenure Officer to work within our Housing Investment team which delivers our capital investment and repair programmes to ensure our housing stock portfolio of 12,000 properties meet all statutory and regulatory standards.

We have a significant programme of investment planned over the next 5 years which includes investment within our multi storey high rise blocks and 8 housing regeneration areas, as well as our programmes to ensure our stock continues to meet the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) and the Social Housing Net Zero Standard.

As our Mixed Tenure Officer, you will work within a team involved in liaison and consultation with tenants and owners involved in Council investment programmes.

You will supervise staff and assist with the marketing and promotion of Council capital investment programmes.

You will also help to coordinate customer enquiries and complaints relating to Council work programmes.

It is essential that you have relevant experience in liaising with residents involved in public sector investment programmes, experience of working with a range of internal and external organisations aswell as knowledge of current housing legislation.

Knowledge of housing issues affecting owners in mixed tenure blocks, knowledge of the private rented sector and General knowledge of the Council’s role as landlord are also essential.

You must have effective communication skills, orally and in writing, have the ability to organise own workload, co-ordinate team workloads and work to deadlines.

Experience of managing staff is desirable.
