Full Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant to join our Group Finance Team. Reporting into the Mobile Retentions Team Leader, we need an individual who will thrive on retaining business and keeping our customer-base happy and satisfied.,
- Maintain and grow gross margin (GM) across our existing client base.
- Drive high-energy outbound and inbound sales calls to generate Telecoms and ICT sales.
- Make informed decisions to protect and expand the account base.
- Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring strong relationships.
- Prepare proposals, monthly reports, and hit KPIs and sales targets.
- Generate new leads and create a nurturing pipeline for sales teams.
- Continuously update product, service, and market knowledge.
- Collaborate with the team to maximise database potential and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Manage contract end dates, ensuring the Chess product portfolio is well-positioned.
- Re-engage with dormant leads, cleanse customer data, and reignite opportunities.
Experience in a sales-driven and retention-based position. - Ability to work under pressure & meet growth targets.
- Excellent telephone sales skills and ability to articulate the value of staying with Chess.
- Effective communicator with superb negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under one's own initiative, as well as part of a team.
- Interested and enthusiastic about self-development.
- Adaptable to change.
- Strong mathematical ability.
- Problem solver with great analytical skills.
- Telecom's knowledge/experience is preferred.
