Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRICS Building Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team in Edinburgh. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, providing expert advice and ensuring the highest standards of service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed building surveys and inspections, producing comprehensive reports.
Manage and oversee construction and refurbishment projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Handle dilapidation cases, negotiating settlements between landlords and tenants.
Provide expert advice on party wall matters and prepare party wall agreements.
Develop design and specification documents for various construction projects.
Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
Prepare and implement planned maintenance programs to ensure properties are kept in optimal condition.
Mentor and support junior surveyors, contributing to their professional development.

Requirements:

MRICS qualification is essential.
Extensive experience in building surveying, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
Full UK driving license.
