MSK Physiotherapist - Internal Only

The majority of the caseload consists of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, but in addition you could be referred patients who have multiple pathologies. As a Physiotherapist in MSK you will have a special interest in the management of musculoskeletal conditions to work within MSK services in NHS Ayrshire & Arran. You will provide direct clinical care, which encompasses physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management of patients with musculoskeletal disorders. You will contribute to the working of a physiotherapy team but be expected to work independently for the majority of the day. There will also be a range of developments opportunities available, alongside structured support from senior MSK clinicians. This post offers developmental opportunities across the 3 sites to gain knowledge in Orthopaedics, Complex Case Clinics, Pain Management, Emergency Department, Rheumatology, Occupational Health, Primary Care Services, and the Specialist Hand Service. This knowledge will help to develop your skills MSK assessment and management. We have recently introduced use of telephone and video virtual clinics so training will be given in this.,
