Full Job Description

We're looking for a Multi Tasked Operative to join our team at Wincanton covering both sites Scotstoun and Govan. This role is to work on the BAE Systems Ships contract. You will report directly to our Stock & Systems Manager to provide flexibility to perform range of different duties.,

  • General administrative and inventory duties
  • Operate the warehouse stores operation on a large defence site including managing the dispensing and return of all tools to the engineers.
  • Record all stock movements on internal warehouse management systems.
  • Use a scanner during the operational processes.
  • Cycle counting of stock.
  • All activities to be compliant and in support of the contractual KPI targets.
  • Conduct and behaviour to be compliant with Wincanton Health & Safety guidelines and legislation.
  • A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the site.

    Able to provide and understand the need for a high standard of customer service.

  • PC literate and numerate with good communication skills, including a minimum of a basic understanding of Microsoft Office as required.
