.Net Developer| 12 Months (Outside IR35)| Hybrid (Edinburgh)

Harvey Nash's client is recruiting for a .Net Developer on a 12 month contract.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business analysts, UI/UX designers, and testing teams, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to software development initiatives, providing architectural guidance when necessary.
• Offer BAU support for key applications, including implementing minor enhancements to ensure compliance with current legislation.
• Manage development environments for applications using Azure DevOps.
• Update and maintain system documentation, including run manuals, wikis, and technical design documents (both high-level and low-level).
• Ensure software quality and performance through thorough testing and optimisation.
• Oversee source code control, ensuring all updates follow proper governance protocols
• Assist in modernising and redeveloping legacy applications.
• Participate in and conduct code reviews, ensuring compliance with established coding standards.
• Facilitate the transition of additional applications from third-party vendors to in-house support and development as required
• Provide guidance on knowledge transfer strategies with third-party vendors to ensure smooth transitions.

This role falls outside IR35 and is hybrid working with the expectation to attend the Edinburgh office once every couple of weeks. Please note that for this role you must have or be happy to get a Standard Disclosure Scotland. To apply please send your CV using the link.
