An opportunity has arisen to work as the Network Management Co-ordinator within the Traffic and Network Management section of our Roads Service.

The successful applicant will play a vital role ensuring that the Council’s road network functions effectively. You will work within a team to co‑ordinate road works activities, ensuring compliance by the Authority with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991. You will oversee development, management and maintenance of Network Management systems to meet statutory requirements and Council Policy, represent the Council in ongoing development of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and associated Codes of Practice, ensure all required inspections are carried out in accordance with national standards and ensure the Scottish Roadwork Register is managed and maintained at all times. You will also co‑ordinate the Council’s Timber Transport response and provide technical support to the Network Management Team Leader and wider service.
