About the Role: Our Fleet Operations Team is on the lookout for a full-time New Build and Fleet Quality Manager to join our crew. Reporting to the National Fleet Operations Manager, you'll work with both the rentals and manufacturing teams to ensure the highest quality of our newly built vehicles. This role is based in Hamilton, with occasional travel to Auckland.,
- Lead quality control processes.
- Ensure all vehicles leaving the manufacturer in NZ meet fleet appearance and functionality standards.
- Manage the 'on fleet' process from manufacturer to rentals or sales fleets, including pre-delivery inspection, registration, certificate of fitness, self-containment certification, and electrical warrant of fitness.
- Manage the fleet legally required documentation.
- Oversee the self-containment process for our entire fleet.
- Provide feedback and updates on the build process to all stakeholders.
- Maintain working relationships with key suppliers, including motorhome manufacturers, chassis suppliers, and compliance providers.
- Lead a team of Fleet Quality Specialists.
- Actively participate in the thl Health and Safety system.
Trade certification or experience in carpentry or panel beating. - Background in boat building.
- Experience with the exterior and interior of motorhomes and caravans.
- Woodwork/cabinet making experience.
- Leadership experience. Expected Criteria:
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge and experience with quality control/quality assurance processes.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Responsibility for the quality and completion of your tasks.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Adaptability to a changing environment.
- Full valid driver's license.
