St Johns Hospital is a modern teaching hospital that provides a comprehensive and expanding range of services, including a 24-hour Accident and Emergency department and the future home of the National Treatment Centre in NHS Lothian.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join the Pharmacy team in this established role which supports the delivery of the highest quality of medicines management to the St John's Hospital site. This post is integral to the upcoming implementation of the medicines one stop service to the site as well as to the ongoing delivery of the education and training elements which underpin the medicine management processes. Travel is required to support the NHS Lothian Nurse Inductions.

 Candidates should have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. With experience of audit, quality improvement and change/project management. The post holder must be a Registered Nurse with current registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council register Educated to degree level or equivalent experience. Evidence of continuing professional development required.
