We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our busy screening team. This position is part of a national screening programme offering eye screening to people with diabetes across Lothian and Borders. The post holder will be responsible for booking and changing appointments over the phone, issuing appointment invitations and results letters, managing out-going mail and other general clerical duties.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will be communicating across a range of organisational and professional boundaries.

Experience of NHS booking systems would be an advantage, but full training will be given.  Motivation, flexibility and well-developed communication skills are essential. You must be familiar with Microsoft Office and have the ability to develop additional IT skills as required.
