We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to work within our integrated Community Mental Health service, covering Community Mental Health West .

As a core member of the team, the post holder will carry out assessments and provide interventions to individuals referred to the service. You will join a dedicated and experienced group of Mental Health specialist OTs where your professional practice and clinical skills will be fully supported to develop.  You will also benefit from working closely with a range of disciplines including Psychiatry, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, MHO, Peer Support, Physiotherapy, Speech & Language Therapy and Dietetics. Collaborative working with partners from the local voluntary sector, advocacy services, employment services and care provider agencies will add a further positive dimension to your day to day practice.

The hours of work are currently 9am-5pm Monday Friday however there is a long term aspiration for community services to be 7 days per week which you would be required to participate in, therefore a degree of flexible working may be required.

Currently registered with the HCPC and with a diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy, our commitment to individual supervision and continuing professional development will support you in this specialist role.
