Full Job Description

Southeast Traders Ltd – Administrator

Location – Cumbernauld

Salary – £22,000 - £24,000 per annum

 

Southeast Traders Ltd (SET) is a family-run business established in 2002. We are a wholesaler, distributor, exporter, and brand owner based in Glasgow.


 Our longstanding relationships with manufacturers and traders allow us to access a wide array of products. Our customer base is large and diverse both in the UK and around the world.

  

We are seeking an experienced Administrator for our FMCG wholesale business in a full-time office-based role with on-site parking facilities. 

 

Candidates for the position should be motivated, possess good communication skills, possess some financial knowledge, be capable of working independently, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

 

·        Answering incoming calls

·        Processing of purchase and sales orders

·        Prepare paperwork & liaise with warehouse staff for order picking

·        Assisting the trading and transport departments

·        Assisting various levels of staff and ensuring queries are handled correctly and efficiently

·        Resolving customer and supplier issues

·        Filing and scanning documents

·        Taking ownership of processes and maintaining an organised work environment

·        Ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

  

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

 

·        Previous administration experience

·        Strong work ethic, attention to detail and the willingness to take accountability

·        Confidence and strong interpersonal skills

·        First class communication skill both written and verbal

·        IT literacy – Excel and Word

·        Experience of SAP, QuickBooks or other similar software

·        Possess a positive, proactive and flexible approach
