Onboarding Support

Part Time - Permanent

Predominantly office-based hybrid role in Ayr

Monday to Friday, 25-30 hours

Who are we?

QANW are part of the wider Accelerant Group, and we provide Insurance Backed Guarantees to contractors operating in the home improvement market – mainly undertaking glazing, renewable energy, roofing or similar home improvement work.

What are we looking for?

We’re recruiting for an Onboarding Support member to provide support to our contractors through their onboarding process into QANW. We’re looking for a customer focussed person with excellent customer service skills to assist new members navigating their online members area.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

•  To provide support and clear/accurate information to our Members, throughout their onboarding process

•  To action and monitor applications appropriately, within the expected timeframe

•  To review company credit reports, company accounts and documentation (such as Guarantee Wordings), to ensure all members meet our onboarding criteria

•  To provide ongoing support to newly activated members. Including ensuring they can navigate their online account and successfully register risks, and have a full understanding of how they are processed

•  To promote and encourage current and new members to take advantage of all available products

•  To collaborate with other departments to promote new and existing products

•  To engage in Technical and Underwriting meetings

•  To provide support in dealing with Referrals and other complex member enquiries

•  To continuously review documentation in line with changes and improvements to processes

Skills

·      Administration and customer service experience

·      Excellent written and telephone based customer service skills

·      Ability to prioritise workload effectively

·      Any technical experience working within the home renovation industry or specifically within an FCA Regulated firm would be advantageous

·      Skilled in operating various Microsoft packages – word/excel/teams

Where are we?

We are located at 4 Forbes Drive, Ayr, South Ayrshire, KA8 9FG. There is flexibility for this role to be hybrid between home and work.
