Full Job Description

We have a new opportunity for an Operational Support Scheduler here at our site at Irvine. The Operational Support Scheduler is required to support the production processes on site by ensuring M-ERP planning data available for short term needs of site. Provision of batch record requirements for the site, ensuring raw materials and consumables are available to support planned production rates. The Operational Support Scheduler supports site processes for maintenance of accurate stock reconciliation.,

  • Accountable for the site supply planning data in M-ERP for all SKUs on site from a short-term perspective. Convert the Master Planning Schedule to individual Process Orders to support the manufacture processes on site.

  • Working closely with Global Supply team to trouble shoot any short-term changes to the supply plan and maintain site systems during short term changes.

  • Provide periodic static data extraction and validation for integrity and consistency; ensures data updated in relevant supply chain systems.

  • Support production rates by preparing batch documentation packages and ensuring the transfer of materials and consumable stocks from Warehouses to Operations areas, ensuring to close process orders to allow release of product to meet customer orders.

  • Provide comprehensive raw material and consumable stock reconciliation processes which support financial reporting requirements and CGMP principles. In addition, identify and mitigate stock at risk and work with key support function in processing any inventory write off requests, including managing safety stock levels.

  • Review the status of material and consumable stocks to liaise, where relevant, with Quality Assurance to ensure material with the required stock status is available to support production rate

  • Manage the label inventory to support the manufacture (eg Hazard labels, sample labels and other miscellaneous labels needed on site)

  • Educated to HNC/degree level or have relevant experience gained in SAP systems

  • Analytical skills with a high degree of computer literacy

  • Be proactive, able to work through issues and solve problems within the key responsibility areas

  • Ability to lead small project activities and deliver objectives

  • Ability to convert the 'medium term' manufacturing plan from Production Planning into a 'short term' manufacturing schedule used within operations

  • Good communication skills and ability to build relationships across different functions (e.g Operations, Quality and Global Planning)


  • Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualification in a business/supply chain related discipline preferable

  • Ability to undertake/contribute to problem solving activities through the application of GPS tools and technique
