Markets Operations Belfast Overview: Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience. A role within Markets Operations means that you will have a global reach, in a supportive environment which will provide you with new experiences and development opportunities right here in Belfast's iconic Titanic Quarter. You can play an important part in transforming and simplifying our operating model. Role Overview: The Operations Analyst is responsible breaking down information in a systematic and communicable manner in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. What you'll do:

  • Validate corporate action events and ensure accurate information is provided for notifications and downstream processing to clients
  • Support a range of products, services and projects
  • Prepare regulatory reports and resolve problems that require investigation
  • Use data analysis methodologies to identify gaps in policy as well as process improvements and support with implementation.
  • Develops a good understanding of products and processes, and industry practices and standards
  • Helping to maintain a culture and environment where processes, risks and controls are continually monitored, and potential risks escalated on a timely basis

    Experience using MS packages
  • Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise
  • Strong risk management and control mindset
  • Self-reliant, good problem solver, results orientated.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to establish and build trust with professionals throughout the business.
