Full Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager for our prestige hotels in Dundee, The Staybridge Suites and Hotel Indigo.
We at Cycas Hospitality have a dedicated team that get to be their true selves so that they can deliver positively OUTRAGEOUS service! We put people at the heart of everything we do and are looking to recruit a friendly, spirited, outgoing Operations Manager for our fabulous Dundee hotels.
The Staybridge Suites, 85 beautiful self-contained suites and Hotel Indigo with 102 design led boutique rooms. The 85 cover Daisy Tasker restaurant attracting our internal and external guests.
What will I be doing?
To oversee the operational management of the hotels, including Housekeeping, Front of House and Food & Beverage. Working closely with the GM and being the 'go to' person in their absence.
Display a pro-active and leading role in terms of service, culture, development, team image, systems, procedures, and skills development.
Assist in managing day to day hotel operations by maximising financial returns,driving our people first culture, whilst creating and maintaining a unique guest experience.
Execute brand standards and all operational initiatives of the brand, with a keen focus on health and safety, compliance and through developing a strong team culture, promote awareness of the hotel and brand in the local community.
Overseeing all meetings and events,working alongside meetings team from enquiry stage through to delivery of event.
To support with initiatives and to the overall objectives of the business in terms of revenues, costs, and teamwork - developing your personal competency levels.
Be the guarantor of guest satisfaction, positioning yourself as a benchmark for quality.
Your role will report to the General Manager and you will be required to deputise in their absence.

Previous experience in a senior overall operational role or senior head of department.
A very keen eye for detail, with the ability to get amoungst the nitty gritty.
Keen ability to analyse performance metrics with a proven track record
Know how to set and manage a budget to achieve optimal returns with effective ability to control costs.
A strong Food & Beverage background is preferred including knowledge of Kitchen operations and market trends.
A good working knowledge of Opera PMS or similar is desired but not essential
The leadership to develop and lead a team of department heads
The ability to drive the details required to ensure quality guest satisfaction at 4 star level
