As an Operations Manager, you will oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse and transport team, ensuring a high level of customer service. This role is crucial for managing and training a large team, prioritising health and safety, and maintaining all capital equipment and site infrastructure.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage and lead a large team, organising and delivering training to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
• Oversee the maintenance and review of capital equipment and site infrastructure, including vehicles and utilities.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety policies, collaborating with the Health and Safety Manager to implement improvements.
• Liaise with various departments to ensure operational cohesion and optimal performance.
• Handle compliance with maintenance regimes, manage repairs, and address cosmetic issues of lorries and other equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role, with a strong background in managing warehouse and transport operations.
• Excellent people management skills and the ability to organise and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of regulations relating to commercial drivers.
• Proficiency in IT and systems management.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Enthusiastic and motivated, with a commitment to delivering high standards of customer service.
