The role - Temporary Operations Technician (Formulation)

You will have an integral role in Merck's commitment to ensuring a positive difference is made to millions of peoples lives through your role as an Operations Technician working within Liquid Media Production. You will have a varied, challenging and rewarding role working within in a highly regulated manufacturing environment preparing various batches for the manufacture of Dry Powder and Liquid Media.

Key Accountabilities will Include:

- Working as part of a diverse team of formulators, millers and fillers to ensure products are manufactured to a high quality standard, meeting customer and regulatory expectations.
- Ensuring formulation of products accurately adhere to manufacturing schedules and SOPs.
- Prioritising workloads to meet daily operational production requirements
- Ensuring all operational activities are undertaken to meet company, client and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring all plant and equipment are maintained to an audit ready state.

Who you are:

- Ideally degree qualified in life science or equivalent qualification, you will have worked in a similar position within a GMP or other highly regulated environment.
- You will possess effective numeracy and literacy skills and be well versed in ensuring accurate work is always maintained.
- Previous systems experience is desirable, direct experience of using SAP is advantageous

This role is offered on a temporary ongoing basis, working on a 4 on 4 off basis consisting of 2 days 2 nights, working 12 hour shifts of 7-7.
