As a Day Operator, you will be responsible for the operational control of the Process Units within the Moray contract. The Day Operator will conduct a range of assigned activities including testing, routine checks, maintenance and problem solving to ensure that services are delivered to time, cost and quality standards.,

  • Carry out and report on a range of activities within established procedures monitor, test and analyse service performance and compliance with regulatory and business standards.
  • Ensure equipment and resources are used, maintained and replaced appropriately to meet business standards.
  • Carry out a range of routine activities to time and quality standards to ensure the smooth running of the overall process on a day to day basis.
  • To draw samples and test as required ensuring the optimal running of all plant and equipment.
  • Record and document all process information and analysis results.

  • Demonstrates the ability to monitor and assess asset performance
  • Proficient in the operation of the treatment process / network process
  • Understanding of the Sludge process and all associated treatment equipment
  • Develops and utilises technical knowledge to demonstrate good operational practices and assists with efficient running of the process, maintenance & operational system
  • Forklift licence

    Salary: £32,665 per annum once qualified plus Veolia benefits (until qualified you will be entitled to £28,604) Hours: 40 hours per week - Day shift Monday to Thursday 0730 to 1630 - Friday 0730 to 1400. Weekend working & standby cover on a roster basis.,
