Full Job Description

Are you a Project Manager who has led Oracle Fusion implementations? Join our team to lead a high profile Oracle Fusion implementation for a renowned organisation. We are seeking a Project Manager with SI experience to deliver on a major transformation project. You will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of the implementation and ensuring that the methodology is followed rigorously. Our Oracle Practice at Sopra Steria is dedicated to implementing and managing Oracle solutions for clients across diverse sectors. We specialise in Oracle applications, databases, and cloud infrastructure, focusing on Oracle ERP, HCM, SCM, and Oracle Cloud technologies. What you will be doing:

  • Lead the implementation team through the entire methodology, ensuring that every phase is executed according to the agreed approach (True Cloud Methodology, OUM, or AIM).
  • Ensure that technical deliverables (e.g., configurations, customizations, integrations) are completed and reviewed at each stage.
  • Assign tasks to the functional and technical consultants based on the phase of the implementation (e.g., during the Design phase, oversee configuration workshops and document functional specifications).
  • Ensure that the SI team adheres to the methodology in areas such as data migration, system configuration, and UAT support.
  • What you will bring:
  • In-depth knowledge of the chosen implementation methodology, including detailed technical and procedural aspects (e.g., how and when to use Oracle Fusion-specific tools like ADF, BI Publisher, OTBI).
  • Systems Integrator (SI) Project Manager experience is essential.
  • Ability to tailor the methodology based on specific client needs or project complexities (e.g., adjusting phases for a phased rollout or hybrid implementation).
  • Expertise in guiding the client through the methodology, especially for activities that require both client and SI collaboration (e.g., UAT, cutover planning).
  • It would be great if you had:
  • Holding an active Security Clearance (SC).
  • If you are interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we're looking for, please do apply, we'd love to hear from you! Although this role is advertised as full-time, we support different ways of working and can offer a range of flexible working arrangements. So, if you're interested and need to work flexibly, we encourage you to apply and talk to us about what might be possible. Level of Clearance: SC Referral Bonus: £3000 Salary offered will be in line with experience and development needs. Loved reading about this job and want to know more about Sector/Company?
