Full Job Description

Job role: Order to Cash Administrator - 8 Months Rolling Maternity Leave Cover
Location: Menzies distribution, Verdant 2 Redheughs Rigg, South Gyle, EH12 9DQ
Salary: £22,396 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 09:00am - 17:00pm - 36.25hrs per week 

Menzies Distribution are looking for an Order To Order to Cash Administrator to join our team in our Edinburgh ofiice (Verdant) 

Key Responsibilities:

People:

  • Support the Administration team to deliver high-quality service.
  • Complete training to meet business requirements.
  • Address team conduct issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and customers.
  • Prioritize tasks and work well individually and as part of a team.

Processes:

  • Understand and adhere to company workflows and admin processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in company systems.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements.
  • Support project work, meeting deadlines.
  • Foster collaboration with buying, finance, and retail teams.
  • Communicate effectively across departments.

Customer:

  • Collaborate with managers to improve processes and service.
  • Develop relationships with retailers, publishers, and internal contacts.
  • Participate in review meetings to maintain service standards.

Finance:

  • Manage payments (Bacs, Card, cheque) and allocate to customer accounts.
  • Process credit checks, new customer applications, and vendor setups.
  • Handle customer suspensions, closures, and deposits.
  • Manage credit balances, refunds, and financial adjustments.
  • Respond to inquiries and maintain reports.

Communication:

  • Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams via phone and email.
  • Ensure all correspondence is accurate and branded properly.
