Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside some of the most influential colleagues in the Group, including our People Directors, Group Executives and other business leaders to enable a future-fit organisation. You'll help craft the Group's operating model and organisation design and build pivotal initiatives that transform how we deliver for our customers, how our people work together, and how we make decisions., To excel in this role, you'll need a deep understanding of organisational effectiveness including operating model and organisation design, a proven track record of using people data to drive actionable insights, and a strong sense of end-to-end accountability. You'll be comfortable with ambiguity and be a collaborative teammate who can work with senior leaders to diagnose the needs of the organisation and identify solutions that deliver a step change in the efficiency and effectiveness of the operating model. No two days will be the same, but you can expect to be involved in all the following activities as part of your role: Shape the Future: Drive the transformation of Lloyds Banking Group by partnering with top execs from across the Group to solve organisational challenges and drive groundbreaking organisational change strategies that push our business forward Pioneering Design: Design innovative, future-fit target operating model(s), considering structures, ways of working, governance and decision-making, skills and location Analyse & Optimise: Crunch organisational, people and cost data to extract and provide insight in support of strategy/solutions that improve organisational effectiveness. Present bold and innovative recommendations to drive the delivery of the Group purpose and strategy Be the Go-To Expert: Become a trusted subject matter authority and advisor to the business for major change programmes, offering bold, constructive challenges to senior colleagues and coaching colleagues in operating model design, organisation design and organisational efficiency, developing their knowledge and skills Lead the Charge: Support the implementation of operating model and organisation structure changes, leading project teams and providing oversight assurance to ensure designs are within the Group Guardrails and benefits are delivered Innovate and Lead: Bring external insights and developing thought leadership, building and maintaining a suite of toolkits and templates that supports delivery of our work, and enables the business to better deliver their own change

  • Experience in leading organisational transformation initiatives with a detailed understanding of operating model and organisation design, either as a consultant or in industry
  • Ability to design and deliver organisational health methodologies at scale, including a deep understanding of organisational efficiency metrics, data analysis and modelling, with proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge of strategic workforce planning, annual planning processes, project management tools and methodologies with a strong risk focus
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels within a matrix structure
  • Commercially minded, with strong business insight and ability to assess the financial and cultural impacts of recommendations
  • Self-starter who can operate well with ambiguity, take ownership for successful, high-quality delivery, and get the best out of their colleagues
  • And any experience of this would be really useful
  • Experience of scaled agile operating models
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Previous experience working in UK Financial Services is a plus, but not a must - however you'll be encouraged to bring an 'outside-in' perspective, with awareness of the best examples of organisational effectiveness from other organisations, Disability Confident
