Full Job Description

The OT Security Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful completion of OT Manufacturing Security Transformation projects at all Baker Hughes manufacturing locations worldwide. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines, and ensuring that all security measures are implemented effectively to protect our operational technology environments., Project Management: Lead and manage OT Manufacturing Security Transformation, and other OT related projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget.
Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including site managers, IT and OT security teams, vendors, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
Risk Management: Identify potential security risks and work within the Baker Hughes OT Security team to develop mitigation strategies to ensure the security of OT environments across all manufacturing sites.
Compliance: Ensure that all security measures comply with industry standards, regulations, and Baker Hughes' internal policies.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and issues, and prepare detailed project documentation.
Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, manage project budgets, and ensure the availability of necessary personnel, contractors, tools, and technologies.
Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the security awareness of employees at manufacturing locations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving OT security practices and implement best practices across all sites., This position will report to the Senior Director of Operational Technology Security.

Experience: Have significant experience in project management, with a focus on OT/IT security, or OT/IT infrastructure related projects preferred. Relevant on-the-job experience is highly valued over formal education.

Certifications: PMP, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of managing large-scale security or IT infrastructure projects.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

  • Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the oil and gas, energy, or manufacturing sectors.

  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations related to OT security.

  • Project management skills, honed through hands-on experience.

  • Ability to adapt to changing OT/IT technology and security landscape.

  • Knowledge of OT or IT security principles, practices, and technologies.

  • A passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.

  • Be fluent in English and due to contractual conditions be a British citizen

    This role may require travel to Baker Hughes manufacturing locations worldwide. The position may involve working outside of standard business hours to accommodate project timelines and deadlines.
