An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the GP Out of Hours Service, as one of our Drivers. 

Based within our Hub in Perth Royal Infirmary, you will be responsible for driving the GPs to any part of the Tayside area in the Out of Hours period and to transport patients to the Out of Hours Service, efficiently, effectively and safely.

You must have good communication and organisation skills and have a proven track record of working well as part of a team.  An excellent knowledge of the geography of Tayside would be required.

You must be flexible and able to work all shift patterns within a 24/7 working rota which includes evenings, weekends and Public Holidays (including Xmas and New Year) as the norm. Enhancements will be paid for this role, making this a highly attractive and sought after position. 

Your performance must comply with the national Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009 and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
