Requirements

​You will have relevant HND/SVQ Level 4 or greater equivalent (Early Years/Childcare/Community Education/Community Planning).

Responsibilities

You will work as part of the Children and Families Service to co-ordinate the support and development of Out of School Services and holiday provision across the City.

The Individual

You will have relevant experience in an education/community based/voluntary role with Children and Families , experience of coordinating services and activities, of data analysis, partnership working, staff development and training. You will have experience in working with parent groups/ committees and facilitating engagement, working knowledge of providing high quality play experiences for children aged 5-16 years with working knowledge and understanding of the OSC sector. You will have understanding of the benefits for children and families of high quality OSC / holiday provision, good planning and organisational skills, excellent interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills. IT skills are essential with the ability to problem solve and negotiate effectively, to work on own initiative with minimum supervision, and able to work effectively as part of a team with excellent networking skills. You will be willing to work evenings and/or weekends as required.
