Full Job Description

Anderson Knight is recruiting an experienced Outbound Sales Representatives for a well-established and reputable company based in Glasgow.


Your main responsibility will be to identify and engage potential customers, introduce them to Clients range of products and services, and secure consultation appointments to drive new business opportunities.


This role is office based, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on a Friday.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a database of potential sales leads across the UK through proactive outbound calls and targeted emails.

• Handle inbound inquiries from prospective customers, assessing their needs and matching them with appropriate solutions.

• Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand customer requirements and tailor your approach to secure consultation appointments.

• Generate interest and close appointments over the phone, effectively setting the stage for future sales.

• Capture and manage essential customer data, ensuring follow-ups are planned and executed efficiently.

• Respond to client inquiries regarding products, pricing, and availability with precision and clarity.

• Collaborate with Sales Management to develop innovative strategies for lead generation, including sales flyers, targeted customer groups, and more.

• Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports on your progress and outcomes.

• Oversee the on boarding process through Welcome calls, setting clear expectations and providing aftercare to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Achieve agreed sales targets through consistent and strategic outreach efforts.

• Up sell products to existing customers, maintaining a proactive relationship with the client base.

• Assist with the administration of order processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the initial stages of customer interaction.

• Provide feedback and insights to Management on product and sales strategy to drive continuous improvement.


Key Attributes and Skills:

• Previous experience in business development, telesales, or telemarketing.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and outstanding interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport quickly with prospects.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence effectively.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets consistently.

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.

• Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.

• Confident and persuasive in sales and up selling scenarios.

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Punctual and reliable.
