Role summary This role will be supporting two Technology Leadership Directors, reporting to the Executive Business Manager to the CITO. The key elements of the role are:

  • To provide efficient and organised support to at least two of the Technology Leadership team.
  • To provide cover when other Tech PAs are absent.
  • Job scope
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues and takes personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls, providing support to ensure improvement of the overall control environment, customer outcomes and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.
  • Provides highly skilled and organised daily management of diaries, actively and efficiently assessing priority and importance of appointments. Proactively manages and maintains diaries and email accounts on a daily basis.
  • Uses sound judgement in order to reschedule/reprioritise commitments as well as flagging any urgent emails that need to be addressed.
  • Co-ordinates and diarises large / complex meetings at the request of LT Director and / or 'Senior Manager' level (mainly large meetings/involving external contacts).
  • Understands the detail of the functions/roles supported, enabling autonomous working and anticipation of where support may be needed.
  • Ensures documentation / venue details are collated and distributed ahead of meetings as appropriate, ensuring attendees are well prepared.
  • Manages Purchase Orders and other finance related tasks in Oracle Fusion when required.
  • Plans and organises events, either internal or events with external colleagues.
  • Co-ordinates and books complex travel, including preparation of travel itinerary where required.
  • Provides high quality documentation as required (including but not limited to, PowerPoint presentations, excel spreadsheets, reports, agendas & minutes).
  • Provides other general administrative duties including but not limited to, assisting with onboarding of new joiners, proof reading and formatting documents to a high quality.
